Colorado Weekend Events: Denver Cherry Blossom Festival, Colorado Springs Olympic Day, Crested Butte Mountain Bike Week, Beaver Creek Tough Mudder

Cam at the Cherry Blossom Festival, Downtown Denver

With a State this big,  filled with people as active as we are, there is simply no way of doing justice to all of the Colorado events, Colorado festivals, and Colorado experiences that I would like to each week.  This category of “Colorado Weekend Events” should more likely be titled, “A select few Colorado Weekend Events that have caught Brad’s attention”.  With that disclaimer in place, here’s a few Colorado Weekend Events that are taking place this weekend.

A Colorado celebration of Japanese-American culture, food, music, dance, arts, and crafts.  June 25-26, 2011. Downtown Denver, Lawrence & Larimer 19th & 20th St.

We’ve done this festival several years and it’s always a good time.  Good food, interesting performances, banzai trees, crafts, and much more.

Beaver Creek, mountains, food, beer, obstacle course racing, and of course lots and lots of mud.  What’s not to like?  Participate or compete…it’s your choice but either way, you’re going to get dirty.  Have fun!

Celebrate Olympic Day with the City of Colorado Springs and the U.S. Olympic Committee. Local kids will have the unique opportunity to learn a new skill or sport from some of the Top Coaches in the U.S.
